Why do you like paragliding?

I like paragliding because this activity gives me freedom, happiness, and work at the same time — it is basically a hobby, a profession, and a sport all in one.

Cristian Alfonso Chaparro Gil

Shareholder and paragliding pilot since 2000. Tourism guiding technologist with a professional tourism guide license.

Since 2004, he has been competing and has achieved the following results: second place in Apía 2018 in the Sport category and second place in the Serial category in 2019.

He is currently a Level I Paragliding Instructor, certified by the General Directorate of Sports of the Community of Madrid, Spain.

Why do you like paragliding?

I like paragliding because of the feeling of freedom and the landscapes you get to enjoy in different places — and on top of that, it’s possible to make a living from flying.

Diego Alejandro Olarte Castañeda

Paragliding pilot since 2002, Tourism Guiding Technologist with a professional tourism guide license, and helicopter pilot.

Why do you like paragliding?

Paragliding is an activity where, in a very simple and practical way, you can take off from a mountain and take advantage of rising air currents—the same ones birds use to soar through the skies. Flying is a dream and a challenge that humanity has pursued for many years.

Miguel Ángel Aparicio Torres

Paragliding pilot since 2009. He has participated in a Cross Country competition in Valle del Cauca and attended an SIV course in Chivor, Boyacá.

Why do you like paragliding?

Because of the freedom you feel being in the sky like a bird, and the opportunity to share with people from different parts of the world.
