An essential part of the service we offer is making everything easy for you, which is why today we want to tell you where our flying locations are and how to get to each of our points.
One at Carrera 10 #8-33 in downtown San Gil, three blocks from the main park and one block from the boardwalk.
We have a sales point, right at the main entrance next to the ticket office, very close to the Dos Ventanas flight area, where we practice paragliding
Located at the highest point of the Chicamocha canyon, just 700 meters from the main road, very close to the Chiflas restaurant on the road from San Gil to Bucaramanga.
Just 40 minutes from San Gil, located in the Palo Blanco village.
Both the launch sites and our offices can serve as meeting points for paragliding flights with Parapente Chicamocha. Our organization can provide free transportation from the San Gil office, from Barichara, or from the Chicamocha National Park office (for Canyon flights).
Please note that depending on the meeting point, a specific schedule will be arranged.

We have several options for you to reach us and enjoy a paragliding flight.
The first option is to take a taxi to the city’s transportation terminal and from there take a bus to the Chicamocha National Park, where one of our locations is. You will find us right at the main entrance of the park, and from there we will take you in our transportation to the flight location.
Buses from Bucaramanga depart every 30 minutes. We recommend taking the 8:00 a.m. bus. The price is 25,000 Colombian pesos.

But any bus on the Bucaramanga to San Gil route will work; you just need to request a stop at Chicamocha National Park “Panachi.”
Here are the options for meeting us:
Take a taxi or your preferred transportation to the ground transportation terminal and take a bus to Chicamocha National Park (Panachi).
From the airport or your hotel in Bucaramanga to Panachi, it can cost between 300,000 and 400,000 Colombian pesos. We can recommend reliable services.

We can’t say it’s the closest paragliding spot to Bogotá, but we can say that in the Chicamocha Canyon, you will experience one of the best flights. Here are some reasons why we can guarantee this:
You can take the bus from the main terminal or from the northern terminal. I recommend the transportation companies Copetran and Berlinas. It’s better to travel at night; you’ll be in San Gil in less than 5 hours. From there, we will take you to the launch site at no additional cost. Remember! You must be in San Gil by 8:30 AM.

Our paragliding office at the Chicamocha National Park: It is located at the main entrance, right next to the ticket booth. The office hours are tied to the Chicamocha National Park hours, which are typically:
However, our flight services operate every day from the Dos Ventanas launch site, which is 5 km from the park. You can also reach this office via the cable car station located in La Mesa de Los Santos (make sure the park is open).
Chicamocha Paragliding Launch Site, Vereda San Pedro, Chiflas Dos Ventanas Sector, Aratoca, Santander: The flight site is located in the Chicamocha Canyon, at km 35 (San Gil-Bucaramanga) or km 64 (Bucaramanga-San Gil), near the Chiflas restaurant.
You can access the site by turning off the main route 700 meters, and it is accessible by any vehicle. If you arrive by bus, you can ask the driver to stop at the Chiflas restaurant, where a bus from our company will be waiting for you.
Buses from San Gil or Bucaramanga depart every 30 minutes and are operated by several companies such as Cotrasangil, Cotrasaravita, and Trasander.
It is located in the Vereda Paloblanco Alto of the municipality of Curití, being the third and last of three flight sites that are located one after another in a 200-meter stretch. The owner is Esperanza Torres. We recommend meeting at the San Gil office for this activity or arranging an appointment in advance.
