The Chicamocha Canyon is a blend of contrasts and colors, like something out of a movie. This natural setting is the result of tectonic plate movements and the passage of its water source, the Chicamocha River.

Route: PESCADERO - JORDAN

Jordán is a hidden village in the heart of the canyon, featuring architecture that is very characteristic of the region and an old bridge that crosses the river. It’s an intermediate-level activity, more scenic in nature, with Class III and IV rapids.

Departure time: 9:00 AM from San Gil
Groups of at least 2 people required
Price: COP $300,000 per person

Recommendations:

Minimum age: Depends on the selected route, preferably 16 years and older
Pescadero–Jordán route: 300,000 COP per person.
Check availability, as the activity is carried out with a minimum of 2 people.
Estimated arrival time in San Gil: around 4:00 p.m.
Any of the options will only allow you to do this activity during the day; it’s unlikely you’ll be able to plan anything else for the same day.
