Canyoning

Descending a rock wall with ropes is exciting, but it’s even more thrilling when done in the middle of a waterfall. That’s Torrentismo.

Our main location for this activity is the Juan Curí Waterfall, which stands at 70 meters tall. It’s a beautiful natural setting located in the rural area of Páramo, accessible after a walk through nature.

To get there, you have several options:

• In your own vehicle via paved road
• Take a bus at the “terminalito” (small terminal for buses to nearby towns, different from the one for buses to cities) from San Gil to Ocamonte or Charalá.

Recommendations:

• Minimum age: 8 years (must be accompanied by a guide)
• Price: COP 90,000 per person
• Bring clothes that can get wet and a change of clothes
• It’s recommended to do the activity in the morning.
