Discovery Session

Aims to introduce you to the world of paragliding accompanied by ground handling practices and a sensation tandem flight in Curití where you are allowed to pilot the wing for a few minutes under the supervision of the pilot.

Learnd and Fly

3 hours of field school + Curití sensation Tandem

The field school is a small slope used to learn how to control the paraglider on the ground, understand the behavior of the Wing, and if you progress enough, make short flights at low altitude. Once this practice is finished, a sensation tandem flight is conducted in Curití under the instruction of a certified pilot who explains to you at all times what to do. During this flight, the pilot facilitates the student the control of the paraglider for a few minutes, depending on the conditions and the skill of the student.

What Does the Course Involve?

The course progresses according to each student’s own evolution; however, we try to follow the following itinerary:

This course is entirely focused on practice.
The first 3 hours are spent at the field school located in Curití Santander, where we begin ground handling and perhaps some short flights (*decision made based on the student’s progress).
Once the previous practice is finished, we go to the Curití flying site to carry out the sensation tandem flight.

3 flight locations for you

We have three flight locations that allow you to evolve in both types of paragliding flight, dynamic and thermal. During this course, inductive flights and practices will be carried out in the 3 flight locations (Curiti, Ruitoque, and Chicamocha Canyon); however, the location for conducting the final (autonomous) practices will be decided based on each student’s progress.
