FAQS

1¿How long is a typical flight?
In the Chicamocha Canyon the flight lasts from 20 to 30 minutes, and in Curití it’s from 10 to 12 minutes. Everything depends on climatic conditions and the state of the person (passenger) once in flight.

We are the largest Pilot Group in the area. Normally we are nine (9) pilots so we fly nine (9) people practically at the same time. However, in high season we have a larger group
3¿What is the Schedule?
San Gil office is open from Monday to Sunday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Panachi office has the same schedule of the Panachi park, which is from Wednesday to Sunday, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm in low season and every day in high season from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. In Dos Ventanas Flight Place in the Chicamocha Canyon we are usually every day from 10:30 a.m. 2:00 p.m. and in Las Nubes Flight Place we are usually from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
4¿What time do we depart and come back?
It depends on the meeting point. The transport that the client decides to take; the climate, and the weight of the passenger; if they take the company transportation (exit San Gil) normally people are picked up at the hotel between 8:30 and 8:45 am, and return between 1:30 and 2:00 pm. If they take their own transport they return as soon as they fly, with our transport until they do not fly, all the people who go on the bus do not return. If the departure is from PANACHI office, we usually have continuous departures from 10:30 am to noon, we recommend having availability between 2 and 3 hours. We do it because the conditions at the beginning of the morning are mild (good for light people) and in the end they are strong (good for heavy people), if done differently it is It is possible that good and comfortable flights cannot be achieved!
5¿What is the maximum weight?
To carry out any flight we depend on weather conditions. We have made flights about 120 kg in different conditions, if the conditions are mild there is a greater possibility of having to land in another place, which means, it does not go up. Keep in mind that the heaviest people fly at the end because the weather conditions are usually stronger and thus there is a greater probability of making better flights!
